Description

These M&M brownies made with cake mix are the ultimate shortcut dessert when you need something quick, colorful, and guaranteed to please. With a rich, fudgy texture and pops of chocolate from every bite!

Ingredients

1 box cake mix. I used Duncan Hines Devil’s Food cake mix (15.25 ounces)

1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted

2 eggs

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup mini M&M, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Butter and line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, add the cake mix, pour the melted butter, and add eggs. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and half of the M&M. Mix well.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining of the M&M on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 23-25 minutes.
  8. The brownies are baked when the edges are set, and the center is soft.
  9. Cool completely in the pan.

Notes

Storage Instructions: The brownies will last at room temperature for 3-5 days when stored in an airtight container or in the fridge for up to 1 week.
