These M&M brownies made with cake mix are the ultimate shortcut dessert when you need something quick, colorful, and guaranteed to please. With a rich, fudgy texture and pops of chocolate from every bite!
Ingredients
1 box cake mix. I used Duncan Hines Devil’s Food cake mix (15.25 ounces)
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, melted
2 eggs
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup mini M&M, divided
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Butter and line a 9×9 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a bowl, add the cake mix, pour the melted butter, and add eggs. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Add the chocolate chips and half of the M&M. Mix well.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining of the M&M on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 23-25 minutes.
- The brownies are baked when the edges are set, and the center is soft.
- Cool completely in the pan.
