Description

These Brown Sugar Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies make an irresistible appetizer recipe and are a must-have for your next party or gathering. Crispy bacon hugs juicy cocktail sausages, all caramelized in a sweet brown sugar glaze—guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser!


Ingredients

14 ounce package of little smokies
16 ounces bacon (not thick cut)
1/2 cup brown sugar
toothpicks


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cut the bacon into 3rds.
  4. Take each sausage, and wrap with bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
  5. Place onto the parchment, then sprinkle with brown sugar.
  6. Bake 25-30 minutes, watching carefully for the last 5 minutes of cook time.
  7. Remove the toothpicks and serve.

Notes

Storage and reheating instructions:

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.

Reheat in a preheated 350°F oven, arranging in a single layer on a baking sheet and covering loosely with foil. Heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through. To make the bacon crispier remove the foil for the last 5 minutes of cooking.
