Description

This easy recipe for Bisquick Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches can be enjoyed even when it's not peach season! You can mix this cobbler and have it in the oven in ten minutes or less! Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect summer dessert recipe!

Ingredients

1 cup Bisquick ™ mix

1 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (if you're not a fan of nutmeg, I would suggest reducing to 1/4 teaspoon)

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

1 can (29 oz) sliced peaches, drained

2 teaspoons coarse sugar, optional to sprinkle on top before baking.

Instructions

  1. In 8x8-inch baking dish, stir together Bisquick baking mix, ground nutmeg and milk.

  2. Next, stir in melted butter and mix until well-combined.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine drained canned peaches and granulated sugar.
  4. Spoon peach mixture on top of the batter. Sprinkle with coarse sugar (optional)

  5. Bake in 375°F oven for 50 to 60 minutes until light golden brown and crispy around the edges.

Notes

Store cooled peach cobbler in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
