Description

These Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers are the ultimate party appetizer. Fresh jalapeños are stuffed with a creamy cheese filling, wrapped in crispy bacon, and cooked to perfection in the air fryer. They’re an easy game day snack that’s perfect for football parties, potlucks, holiday gatherings, and anytime you need a crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

6 to 7 fresh jalapeños

8 oz cream cheese - softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

12 to 14 slices of uncooked bacon

Instructions

  1. Slice the jalapeños in half lengthwise and carefully remove the seeds and ribs. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth using a hand or stand mixer.
  3. Add shredded cheddar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until fully combined.
  4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cream cheese mixture, spreading evenly.
  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F. Lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  7. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños in the basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd; cook in batches if necessary.
  8. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray and air fry for 15 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and golden.
  9. Remove from the air fryer and let cool for 2 to 3 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
