- Cover and continue cooking on LOW for 30 minutes, or until the gravy has thickened.

Notes
Use frozen meatballs: There’s no need to thaw or brown the meatballs before adding them to the slow cooker.
Adjust the gravy: For a thicker Salisbury-style gravy, add the optional cornstarch slurry during the final 30 minutes of cooking.
Watch the salt: The au jus mix, onion soup mix, and beef broth already contain salt, so taste before adding additional seasoning.
Add mushrooms or onions: Sliced mushrooms or onions make a delicious addition to the savory gravy.
What to Serve With Salisbury Meatballs
These meatballs are especially delicious served over creamy mashed potatoes, buttered egg noodles, or fluffy rice. Add roasted carrots, steamed broccoli, or a simple green salad for an easy family dinner.
Storage and Reheating
Refrigerator: Store cooled leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
Reheating: Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave until heated through. Add a splash of beef broth if the gravy becomes too thick.
