This Crack Green Bean Casserole is delicious! A sweet sauce with soy and brown sugar, along with crispy bacon combine for a heavenly side dish that is a favorite at family gatherings. You can easily double and triple this recipe for a crowd.

4 cans green beans, 14 ounces (depending on the size of your can, I used 42 oz. total)

12 strips bacon, cook until slightly crispy

2/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup butter, melted

2 tablespoons, plus one teaspoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons garlic powder

  1. Cook bacon over medium heat, just until crispy.  Drain and set aside.
  2. Drain canned green beans and place in 9×13-inch casserole dish.
  3. In a separate small bowl, combine brown sugar, melted butter, soy sauce and garlic powder.
  4. Pour over green beans. Top with cooked bacon.
  5. Bake in 350°F oven for 40 minutes.

Store cooled green beans in an airtight container in the fridge for up to four days.

To reheat, cover dish with aluminum foil and reheat in 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
