In a large pot of boiling chicken stock, cook beans until crisp-tender.

Cook the beans

Melt butter in skillet. Sauté onions and mushrooms for seven minutes.

Sauté the veggies

To the sautéed vegetables, add green beans, soup, garlic powder, salt, pepper and 1/3 cup of French's fried onions.

Stir to combine, then transfer to greased 8x8-inch casserole dish. Bake in 350°F oven for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and bake another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining fried onions and enjoy!
