Slice carrots on the diagonal into 1/2 inch pieces and set aside.

In a heavy-bottomed skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic, orange juice, brown sugar, ginger and thyme. Cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add carrots and cook for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Turn carrot mixture onto a lightly greased baking sheet and bake in 400°F oven for 20-25 minutes.
