Homemade Baked Beans from Scratch

An easy recipe with no overnight soaking for the beans.

Cook beans for three minutes, then let stand for one hour.

Add water to the beans and cook for 45 minutes. Drain, reserving 2 cups of liquid.

Slice bacon and cook in skillet.

In a Dutch oven, add beans and all other ingredients. Bake at 300°F for 2 and 1/2 hours.

Uncover and bake for another 1 and 1/2 hours. Enjoy!
