This better than takeout orange chicken is made with chicken nuggets and a citrusy homemade sauce.
Cook chicken nuggets according to package direction. Chops ingredients.
Over medium heat, add the orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger, garlic and red chili flakes.
Make a slurry with cornstarch and water, then add to the orange mixture. Cook 5 to 7 minutes.
Add the chicken to the pot and toss until the chicken is fully coated.
Serve over rice and top with sliced onions and shredded orange zest.
