Ingredients You’ll Need

3 lbs. sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized chunks

2 tablespoons olive oil, to sear beef

1 onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 oz. envelope au jus gravy

1 oz. envelope ranch seasoning mix

1 stick butter (8 tablespoons)

1 cup low sodium or unsalted beef broth

1 cup sliced pepperoncini peppers

¼ cup pepperoncini juice

SUBSTITUTIONS/VARIATIONS

  • You can make this with stew meat, chuck roast, flank steak, ribeye, or choose another meat like chicken.
  • You can use 6-8 whole pepperoncini peppers instead of sliced.
  • You can make it without the onions or garlic.
  • You can add vegetables to make it more filling like halved baby potatoes and baby carrots.

Step By Step Instructions

STEP ONE – Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with olive oil. Sear steak bites for 2-3 minutes on both sides until browned. Transfer to crockpot.

STEP TWO – Top with onions, garlic, au jus gravy, ranch seasoning, sliced butter, pepperoncini peppers with juice, and beef broth.

STEP THREE – Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

STEP FOUR – Stir before serving. Enjoy!

Storage Instructions

Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container for 3 or 4 days.

Reheat on the stovetop over medium heat for 10-12 minutes until heated through.
