Chocolate Chip Brownies

Description

You will love how this one-bowl Chocolate Chip Brownies recipes is so easy to make. They are chocolaty, and the texture is dense and moist with pecans and chocolate chips in every bite. Sure to delight!


Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

2 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

3/4 cup all purpose flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips

1 cup coarsely chopped pecans


Instructions

1. In heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt butter and chocolate squares.

2. Remove from heat.

3. Stir in sugar.

4. Blend in eggs, one at a time. Stir well after each addition.

5. Add vanilla.

6. Stir in flour.

7. Stir into chocolate chips and pecans.

8. Spread in a greased 8x8" square baking pan. 

9. Bake  in a 350F oven for 25 -30 minutes.

10. Cool on wire rack then cut into squares.

Notes

Substitutions

You may substitute chopped walnuts for the pecans.
